Add the Auckland builders directory to your AI assistant

1. Open Settings → Apps & Connectors (older name: Connectors). Under Advanced settings turn on Developer mode.
2. Click Create (custom connector or app). Name: Auckland Builders. MCP server URL: https://mcp.compare-auckland-newbuilds-renovations.org/mcp. Authentication: No authentication.
3. Tick the trust box and Create. In a new chat choose it from the + menu (More → Developer mode) and ask your question.

Custom connectors depend on your plan and region; on Business or Enterprise an admin may need to allow them. ChatGPT cannot send custom headers, so with a paid key use the key-in-URL form shown under "Using a paid key".

1. Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
2. Name Auckland Builders, URL https://mcp.compare-auckland-newbuilds-renovations.org/mcp, then Add. Leave any OAuth fields empty.
3. In a chat, open the tools menu and enable the connector.

Available on paid Claude plans (Free is limited); on Team and Enterprise an Owner adds it under Organization settings → Connectors. Claude Desktop uses the same Connectors screen; its JSON config file only runs local servers, so use the mcp-remote recipe if you prefer a file.

1. Go to grok.com/connectors, click New Connector and choose Custom.
2. Paste https://mcp.compare-auckland-newbuilds-renovations.org/mcp and complete the form (no authentication for free use).

Grok Business and Enterprise: a team admin must provision the connector first. xAI API (developers): add {"type":"mcp","server_url":"https://mcp.compare-auckland-newbuilds-renovations.org/mcp","server_label":"auckland_builders"} to tools in a /v1/responses request; add "authorization": "Bearer cab_YOUR_KEY" for a paid key.

Tell your bot: "Add this MCP server: https://mcp.compare-auckland-newbuilds-renovations.org/mcp", or add it yourself under the bot's connectors settings (add a custom MCP server by URL). For a paid key put Authorization: Bearer cab_YOUR_KEY in the server's headers field. Check your app's connector settings if the menu names differ.

Gemini app (web and mobile): on gemini.google.com go to Settings → Connected Apps → Add a custom app and paste https://mcp.compare-auckland-newbuilds-renovations.org/mcp. Google currently limits custom apps to eligible personal accounts (18+, US, English, Keep Activity on), so you may not see the option.

For a paid key add --header "Authorization: Bearer cab_YOUR_KEY". Developers can also attach remote MCP servers through the Gemini API and Google's ADK.

We could not find a way to add your own MCP server to the Meta AI app: Meta runs a developer-preview connector programme for service providers, not a "paste a URL" setting. Honest options:

• Paste this into the chat: "Use https://mcp.compare-auckland-newbuilds-renovations.org/llms.txt and https://compare-auckland-newbuilds-renovations.org/directory/ to find Auckland builders for ...". The web route works without MCP but has no live status checks or rate-limited API.
• Developers using the Llama API or Llama Stack can connect any remote MCP server by URL: https://mcp.compare-auckland-newbuilds-renovations.org/mcp.
